Business advice for Flatpack Assembly Services franchisees

Do you have a Flatpack Assembly franchise, or are you looking to get one? If so, we can help you with the Tax, GST & BAS and financial side of things.

We’ve helped many ‘flatpackers’ get going with their franchise. This means you’re in safe hands because we know how it works and how best to help you.

If you need to get your business structure set up, or your ABN and GST registration organised, or assistance with finance, then we’re up for that that too.

We can also help with the bookkeeping and using Xero. There is more information below about how we can help with your next steps.

How we can help you

Once you start thinking about getting a franchise, you’ll have a lot of thoughts and questions will come into your head.

We can answer these questions and help you get you set up correctly.

We’ve been working with people just like you get into franchising over the last 10 years and make a success of it. And we’ve been working with Flatpack Assemby Services since they came to Australia in 2017!

There are 3 important areas where we help you:

  1. Set up your business structure, and ATO registrations for ABN, TFN, GST & BAS

  2. Set up your Xero accounting software

  3. Help with ongoing bookkeeping, accounting and tax (including your GST and Income Tax Returns)

Specifically, these services include:

  • Set-up of your business, as company or sole trader (happy to discuss the differences with you),

  • Tax Registrations, including Tax File Number, ABN and GST registration,

  • Advice on the most tax effective way to purchase business vehicles and other assets,

  • Xero set-up, make sure it’s set up right for Tax and GST,

  • Bookkeeping and paying wages,

  • Prepare your Business Activity Statement (BAS)for your GST.

  • Prepare your Business Tax Return.

We can also assist with your business plan (budget and cashflow forecast) and loan application to the bank if you require finance.

should i set up a company or be sole trader?

The trading structure you operate through is really important. It’s a big decision and you should think about it carefully. There are big benefits from trading through a company. It’s a better way to protect your assets and there are also tax benefits too. But it needs to be right for your particular situation, so we should talk it over before you get started.
